
Rockford Man Sentenced for Distributing Cocaine

Madison, Wis. - John W. Vaudreuil, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Jose J. Centeno, 34, Rockford, Ill., was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge William M. Conley to 30 months in federal prison for distribution of cocaine. Centeno pleaded guilty to this charge on May 11, 2012.
United States Attorney Vaudreuil praised the efforts of the Rock County Safe Streets Task Force in combating drug related crimes.
The charges against Centeno were the result of an investigation conducted by the Rock County Safe Streets Task Force. The prosecution of the case has been handled by Assistant U.S. Attorney David J. Reinhard.
